2. Match Structure
Each league-tournament will consist of 10 teams, ensuring 9 scheduled matches for each team at the beginning of the tournament.
The competition will last for 9 weeks.
Semifinals will be played to determine the champion (9 league matches + 2 playoff matches for the top 4).
Matches are played in 2 sets with a super tiebreak in case of a tie (Up to 10 points).
Golden point is in effect when a game reaches 40-40 (deuce), a single point will be played to determine the game winner.
The winner of the match will receive 1 point for the ranking, and the loser will receive 0.
3. Tournament Operation
Teams must arrive at the club 15 minutes before the start of the match.
On the courts, you will see a BPC representative who will assign the courts and provide you with new balls.
If a team arrives more than 15 minutes late, the organization may declare the match forfeited (WO, 6-0 6-0).
There will be a TOURNAMENT COORDINATOR and/or a Referee who will resolve any aspect not covered in this regulation.
Once the match is over, the BPC representative at the club will record the results. Thanks to this, the entire ranking will be updated on our website the next day.
4. Competition Categories
The league is divided into 5 categories regardless of gender.
Each category is determined by skill level.
The categories are: First Level (Highest), Second Level, Third Level, Fourth Level, Fifth Level (Beginner).
Each team is free to choose their category; however, if you are unsure, the organizer will assist you in finding the most suitable league level for your team.
5. Rescheduling and Cancellation
Matches cannot be rescheduled for the smooth functioning of the league.
Not showing up for a match without prior notice is a serious offense.
You will always be informed of any created, modified, or canceled matches.
In the event that matches are canceled due to weather conditions, they will be rescheduled, and the affected teams will be notified.
If one of the teams cannot attend the match, a substitute from the same category can be found.
Each pair has the option to use a substitute (once) throughout the tournament.
If none of the 4 players in the team can attend the match, please notify the organization at least 14 days in advance. In such cases, the organization will try to reschedule the match.
